Hey. My name is Andy Stickel. If you have a problem where clients will book consultations and then not show up for the consultations, then I want you to watch this video right now. I am going to give you the solution and teach you how to get more clients to show up to consultations.

The thing you have to understand is that the more personal contact that the client has with your law firm, the more likely they are to show up for the consultation. What do you need to do? The first thing you need to do when you book the consultation is to make sure that you get their cell phone number. Actually, you can do it the same day that you booked the consultation or a couple of days before the consultation.

What you want to do is send them a text message. On this text message, you actually want to record a video – it can be a short video – that just says, “Hey, Mike. It’s Attorney John Smith. Looking forward to our consultation this coming Thursday at 2:00 PM. Be sure to bring your arrest report. (Be sure to bring whatever it is that you need to bring)

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at the office, 407-123-1234, or you can text me back at this number. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday at 2:00 PM.” If you send them a personalized text message, they’re much more likely to show up.

Another thing you can do is actually have someone from your office reach out and do the intake for them over the phone before they actually come in. The cool part about that is now, they have given you all this information. They’re complying more. It’s a compliant step. Because they are actually giving you information and they’re taking more steps, they are much, much more likely to show up for the consultation. Those are two things you can do if you’re having problems with lawyers or with clients not showing up for consultations.

Now, if you have any questions at all, leave me a comment below. Otherwise, you can send me a direct message. I’ll help you out. I hope this video helped you. I hope you are having a great week. I’ll talk to you soon.
